We invite you to take your time and explore radiant sacred treasures and swords embodying the spirit of the samurai, passed down since ancient times.

At the entrance, beautiful Ichifusa cedar introduces the charm of HItoyoshi-Kuma, along with crafts like Kijiuma, Hanatebako and Kuma shochu.
At the center of the first floor, a 400-year-old portable shrine (mikoshi) still used in the Okunchi Festival is displayed.
You can also see lion masks and Kuma Kagura, which reflect the shrine’s long history.

Aoi Aso Shrine, founded in 806. The second-floor exhibition room displays precious sacred treasures that have been preserved for over 1,200 years.
The Sword Exhibition features 77 swords restored from the Kuma River Flood disaster, including sacred blades from the late Heian, mid Kamakura, and early Edo periods.
